SUNGAI BULOH, March 26 — PKR vice-president R. Ramanan today dismissed insinuations that he is the lawmaker alleged to have received RM9 million from businessman Victor Chin, who is implicated in the so-called “Corporate Mafia” controversy. Victor Chin had said a PKR lawmaker whose name starts with R took a bribe of RM9.5 million. The bribe was to allegedly help with the ‘corporate mafia’ scandal.

Nevertheless, Ramanan went further in his presser, challenging Chin to reveal the identity of “Mr. R”, while also taking aim at former party deputy Rafizi Ramli, suggesting the latter was trying to capitalise on Chin’s “sensational” allegations to attack the party. “Only Chin can answer who Mr. R is,” Ramanan said at a press conference he held this afternoon. Meanwhile, Rafizi is now saying he will respond fully to Ramanan’s ‘attack’ against him made during the presser. The mystery lingers….we wait for March 30? Politics is becoming more interesting, right?
