However, controversy arose as Bloomberg reported that MACC Chief Commissioner Azam Baki held 11.7 million shares in Velocity Capital Partners, worth nearly RM800,000 — exceeding the RM100,000 limit for civil servants. Azam claimed he disposed of the shares last year, but records still list him as a shareholder. Critics highlight recurring concerns over his stock holdings.
