Former health minister Khairy Jamaluddin has formally submitted an appeal to return to UMNO, according to party president Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.

Ahmad Zahid said the appeal will be evaluated by the UMNO “Rumah Bangsa” committee before any decision is made.
The move is seen as part of broader efforts to reunite former members and strengthen the party ahead of future political developments.
