It is to no surprise that certain Apple stores in the United States are beginning to teach the elderly on how to use their flashy new iPhones. It is common for us even in Malaysia to have to teach either our grandparents or parents depending on their age with regards on how to use their iPhones
Apple teaching older people how to use their products
It seems that it is currently only in the United States. However, this program might gain more traction and could possibly come to Malaysia in the near future. As it is, there are some children that are too busy to even teach their parents on how to even reformat their iPhones.
One netizen stated that their grandfather was a Jazz musician born in the 1920s and went to one of these courses. He ended up knowing more about these devices than his grandchildren. He then managed to make a Skype call with all of his old buddies and they played Jazz together digitally.
