The topic of respecting the religions in Malaysia has come up again after an A&W staff worker accidentally gave a beef burger to a Hindu customer. Netizens are vehemently upset at the situation as individuals with religious constraints should be respected. Others state that the staff could’ve asked the customer if they’re eating beef or not.

Additionally, netizens state that the restaurant has to issue an apology to their customer. However, some state that the staff may be scared that if they did not in fact give the burger, they’re in the wrong. Apparently, the beef burger is a free add on to customers who purchase a certain amount of food.
Following that, X users state that the staff should’ve known better as the customer quite literally ordered 6 chicken burgers. The free burger could’ve been another chicken burger instead, said the user.
