Bersatu has begun preparations for a possible snap general election, as the Madani government enters its third year. Secretary-general Azmin Ali revealed that party president Muhyiddin Yassin urged immediate mobilization of the party machinery during a recent meeting. This follows a key discussion between Bersatu and PAS leaders, including PAS president Abdul Hadi Awang. Muhyiddin emphasized the need for machinery audits and discipline among members. Earlier, Azmin Ali stated in a Facebook post that the party is preparing for a possible snap election at the end of the year.
