Deputy Defence Minister Adly Zahari said Iran has granted clearance for Malaysian ships, ensuring safe passage without military involvement.
No Navy Escort Needed for Malaysian Ships in Hormuz
The decision reflects strong diplomatic ties and coordination between both countries. Several Malaysian vessels previously stranded in the strait have already begun transiting safely.
The Strait of Hormuz remains a critical global oil route, with disruptions earlier causing major supply concerns. Authorities continue monitoring the situation to safeguard Malaysia’s energy and trade interests.
