Businessman In Gov’t Project Cartel Faces 483 Years Jail

A businessman with the title of Datuk who is believed to be the mastermind of a cartel syndicate fraud of government projects faces 483 years jail.

Datuk Adly Kamarudin, 47, pleaded not guilty to all charges which were read out before Judge Rozilah Salleh.

Adly was allegedly charged with abetting the falsification of 69 documents for various projects to deceive the Public Works Department (JKR).

The accused was ordered to pay bail of RM500,000 with one surety.
