Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Law and Institutional Reform), Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said, announced that the proposed Anti-Bullying Act will soon be tabled at a Cabinet meeting.

She explained that ministries including KPWKM, MoE, MoHE, and the Ministry of National Unity will provide feedback before the Legal Affairs Division conducts a detailed study and engagement sessions.
The Act seeks to address the lack of clear definitions and penalties for bullying, which is currently handled under various laws. Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim also revealed that a tribunal for bullying cases involving students and children will be considered.
