A divorced man and a single mother were caught for khalwat for the second time at the same house in Tangkak, Johor, by the same Johor State Religious Department (JAINJ) officers. The pair, both in their 30s, were previously fined RM2,800 each after a raid three months ago, during which officers advised them to marry.

Despite planning to wed in two months, they were once again found together following public complaints. This time, they face trial at the Tangkak Syariah Court after being released on RM2,000 bail each. The woman has one child, and both await further proceedings.
