Ever walk into a big name brand store whether it be a grocery store or a restaurant only to find out that their credit card machine is conveniently not working even after a few times you have gone there? This netizen is allegeding that these stores could be laundering money.
Cash only is annoying
Certain places may misuse the term “cash only” as a method of telling their customers no instalment plans are available, and that is fine for the most part. However, the ones that do not accept cards at all are a problem, especially in our modern day and age.
There are even stories of business men/women selling “pisang goreng” at the side of the road accepting QR pay as a payment method. Some are alleging that if only physical cash is accepted, there is a chance the business is avoiding their income tax payments, however this is just a speculation from netizens.
Keep in mind that there are businesses that can’t afford the cashless methods as it would eat in their profits too.
