Chinese PM arrives in Malaysia on 3-day official visit

SEPANG – Chinese Premier Li Qiang arrived in Malaysia on Tuesday for a three-day official visit, his first since assuming office in March last year. His Air China flight landed at the Kompleks Bunga Raya, Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) at 8:44 PM.

Welcoming him were Chinese Ambassador to Malaysia Ouyang Yujing, Malaysian Transport Minister Anthony Loke, and Malaysian Ambassador to China Datuk Norman Muhamad. Upon arrival, Li inspected a guard of honor comprised of 28 officers and members of the First Battalion of the Royal Ranger Regiment (Ceremonial Infantry) led by Captain Nur Ahmad Zaim Zahari.
