It is common for a major city like Kuala Lumpur to have a crowded mass rapid transit system. However, netizens are upset that the frequencies and facilities are still lacking for our public transportation system. The current government can only do so much in terms of improving these facilities.
Crowded MRTs complained by netizens
An X user shared their experience waiting for these trains. Interchanging between these two lines can be a hassle as well. The user adds that it would take between 3-4 trains until they’re able to board one. Each train would have a 4 minute interval, which is rather low when compared to Singapore’s 1 minute interval.
Regardless, those who drive state that it is better to take the train as you’d just have to board the train. In contrast, when driving, you’d have to brace the jam and it would be taxing on one’s mental health. In addition to that, the costs for petrol, parking and tolls would need to be factored in as well.
