Netizens are approving of this new ban as they feel drivers should do their own due diligence by buckling their own seat belts. An X user adds that some drivers may not even be aware that their tires are almost flat at times.
Additionally, an X user claims that those who use these devices may be refused to receive any insurance money if they’re injured during an accident. It is unclear if this is true, but there is a hefty fine for drivers and front passengers for not using a seatbelt.
