At 23, he bought a small video rental store and gradually expanded into cosmetics, eventually shifting into research, design and manufacturing. He later sold two companies for tens and hundreds of millions but says money was never his motivation. Now 66, he continues building businesses and hopes to use his wealth to give back, especially to the Korean American community.
