This all stemmed from a user who met someone from a rural town who was shocked to see girls who did not wear the headscarf praying. Netizens state that there are girls from the rural area who do cover up when they’re there, only for them to remove all coverings when they move to the city.
There are some who are adamant that women are required to cover themselves up with the hijab. But the debate has been going on for a while now and X users are torn between the two sides.
