Don’t interference in Singapore’s politics and society

While in the past, the Singaporean government often ignored reporting on Singapore from outside in foreign media outlets, that appears to be less so now with a new law.

A new measure was introduced by the Ministry of Home Affairs called the Foreign Interference (Countermeasures) Act (FICA) and it is likely not aimed at foreign spies but the foreign press.

The government said the new law will target “Politically Significant Persons” and Asia Sentinel says, “Amazingly, the acronym of this is PSP, the same as that party.”
