However, other users are not surprised at the situation, they state that Shah Rukh Khan was the previous tourism ambassador. For the most part, some understand that having a foreign national to be an ambassador may help the state further.
Others add that Michelle Yeoh would be a better suited candidate for the role as she is Malaysian herself. Regardless, the decision has been made, and the title has always been given to a foreign national.
