There are many fraudsters around but not many people fall into their traps perhaps because they are seeking a quick return on investment and that is what may have happened to a 36-year-old salesperson.
She had browsed a foreign website on March 29 and was briefed on investment companies claiming to operate ‘green agriculture products, green health industry and green energy industry’.
The salesperson trusted the website saying to get a Gold Card package one has to invest a capital of RM638, 314.10 and it guarantees a 3% profit on the whole investment within three minutes but it was fraudsters who were luring her. She found difficult to get her money back after she made 27 transactions amounting to RM382,517 to six different accounts for the investment.
