KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 7 — Clients could select foreign women via WhatsApp or walk-in at a Jalan Ipoh hotel, paying RM250 to RM400 per hour, before Immigration busted the operation this week. The three-star hotel, allegedly turned into a vice den since September 2024, was raided after two weeks of surveillance. Thirty-seven individuals, including women from Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, and Laos, were detained for immigration offences such as overstaying, misuse of passes, and lacking documents. Immigration chief Datuk Zakaria Shaaban said several passports were seized, while seven local men were also summoned to assist in investigations.
