KUALA LUMPUR – A foreign tenant was arrested after allegedly threatening to kill and burn down his landlord’s home at PPR Kampung Muhibbah, Bukit Jalil. Kuala Lumpur police chief Datuk Fadil Marsus said the incident was reported at 7.41pm on Wednesday by a woman in her 70s. The suspect, a room tenant, had argued with the victim over rental payments.
Foreign Tenant Arrested
Acting on information, police from Cheras district headquarters detained the man at 12.49am on Thursday. Checks revealed he was a 20-something Egyptian national without valid travel documents. He has been remanded for 14 days until April 11 to assist investigations.
