A forest fire spotted near Menara Indah Apartment in Taman Tun Abdul Razak, Ampang, has since subsided, with fire and police vehicles leaving the area late last night. Firefighters had remained on site to monitor the situation after the blaze was earlier seen from nearby elevated residential areas.

The fire, which went viral on social media, was confirmed as a forest fire by the Selangor Fire and Rescue Department. Fire crews from the Ampang station were deployed to contain the incident, which occurred near the Bukit Kembara trail along the SUKE highway.
