PKR will not shield any leader or member found guilty of abusing power, said its Information Chief Fahmi Fadzil. He stressed that Prime Minister and PKR President Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has issued a stern warning that no one, including ministers, will be protected if involved in misconduct.

Speaking at the PKR Federal Territories Annual General Meeting in Bandar Tun Razak, Cheras, Fahmi reminded members: “Do not misuse power or tarnish the party’s image.” He recalled PKR’s past struggles against abuse of authority and urged leaders not to repeat such mistakes. Fahmi, who is also Communications Minister, cautioned against complacency, reminding leaders that positions are a responsibility, not a privilege.
