Asnida Daim, daughter of former finance minister Tun Daim Zainuddin, is set to be charged at the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court on Tuesday (April 7). Lawyer Yu Ying Ying confirmed she faces charges under Section 36(2) of the MACC Act 2009, which involves failing to comply with a notice to declare assets.

The case will be mentioned before Judge Rosli Ahmad at 9am. MACC also obtained approval to charge a company director linked to the “Op Godfather” probe. Asnida had her statement recorded at MACC headquarters for five hours on Monday as part of ongoing investigations.
