Genting Highlands: Man Found Unalived With Hands and Feet Tied

A Chinese national in Malaysia, is arrested after allegedly causing the death of a guard during a dispute over unpaid debts. The suspect, who lost money gambling, borrowed funds from a loan shark but couldn’t repay, leading to his detention by the loan shark in a hotel room where the fatal altercation with the guard happened. The police are searching for two other suspects connected to the incident.

The story begins with the suspect owing money to a loan shark, borrowing that he lost in gambling. The guard had on one occasion kicked him and asked him to repay the debts. A fight broke out, and the suspect allegedly strangled the guard, using cloth strips, towels and belts to restrain him. Realising that he had unalived the guard, he tried to give him CPR but failed. He then asked for the staff help from the hotel and got arrested.
