Two Loan Shark Suspects to Face Arson Charges Across Johor

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 28 — Two men, aged 25 and 26, believed to be working for loan sharks, will be charged in multiple courts today for their alleged involvement in nine arson cases across Johor. They were arrested on January 14 in Segamat after police patrol officers noticed suspicious behaviour and discovered a Molotov cocktail and a threatening note in their car.

Arson Charges

Investigations revealed the duo carried out attacks in Seri Alam, Batu Pahat, Muar, Iskandar Puteri, and Johor Bahru Utara. The suspects admitted receiving RM900–RM1,200 per assignment. They face five charges beginning at the Johor Bahru Sessions Court.
