This has been a long standing issue for Malaysians, where Grab is requesting users to pay up RM3 if they are canceling their ride. However, netizens are upset at the fact that it’s the drivers themselves who are requesting to cancel the trip. There are times when the drivers did not have the time to reject any incoming offers.
Grab’s cancellation fees annoying Malaysians
Recently, a meme was posted on Twitter, and it garnered quite the attention. One user states that their Grab driver requested them to cancel their trip, but they insisted that the driver should cancel it themselves. In addition to this, the driver told the user that they were headed in a different direction.
However, netizens are also stating the fact that there are some users who would use the live location feature which would mess up the pick up point. Others are stating that users should save the address that they’d prefer going to, rather than having the driver guess their exact location.
