Malaysians went in droves to watch the Merdeka Parade at the Dataran Merdeka in Kuala Lumpur and to celebrate the National Day as a family.
The huge crowds showed up at Dataran Merdeka onAug 31 with many arriving as early as 4.30am to get a good spot from where they watched the parade.
Justly so, the crowd gave huge applause to the Covid-19 contingent as it marched past them today, with the people showing both appreciation and gratitude for their hard work in the past two years.
