A 25-year-old ice cream seller named Bablu was brutally killed in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday after a violent altercation with a local resident, Shankar Yadav, 50. Police reported that the dispute escalated when Yadav attacked Bablu with a sickle, severing his head in front of shocked villagers.
Victim Supported Family Through Ice Cream Sales
In a chilling twist, the suspect carried the victim’s head back to his home and continued cooking as if nothing had happened. Authorities, led by District Police Chief Arpit Vijayvargiya, raided the house and arrested Yadav, recovering the weapon and the victim’s remains. Bablu’s body was sent for autopsy as investigations continue into the motive behind the quarrel.
The victim, the eldest of three siblings, supported his family through manual labor and selling ice cream. His wife and two children are devastated by the tragedy, which has left the community shaken by the sheer brutality of the crime.
