Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim joked with Minister of Agriculture Mohammad Sabu about the eggs shortage, saying ‘Ini telur tak ada?‘ to the smile of Deputy Prime Minister Fadillah Yusof. Anwar appears to be in a very good mood.
Apparently, Mat Sabu did not reply or his reply was inaudible in a video shared by the PM’s office about the meeting the Cabinet members had today before they start their respective jobs.
The jokes about eggs are plenty in Malaysia now and during the elections, Anwar said the TS Muhyiddin Yassin and Ismail Sabri Yaakob government could not control egg prices. There is still a shortage of eggs and shoppers are only allowed a limited number of egg trays at some supermarkets.
