On Tuesday (September 6), the Kuala Lumpur High Court heard that former Prime Minister Najib Razak had spent RM98,000 during a hotel stay in Italy.
At that time, Najib had two credit cards with a combined limit of RM3 million, believed to be one of the highest credit limits ever granted by AmBank, the bank where he received SRC International money (RM42 million).
Former AmBank vice-president Yeoh Eng Leong also testified in the Kuala Lumpur High Court that the former finance minister never complained to the bank about the transactions, which included the hotel stay in Rome, Italy in 2011.
