Muhammad Sharuddin Mat Masrol, 30, had left the car at a supermarket car wash while shopping with his wife, only to discover later that an employee handed the keys to a stranger claiming to be his friend.

Sharuddin immediately lodged a police report at the Johor Bahru Selatan District Police Headquarters and plans to sue the outlet for negligence. Police have confirmed receiving the report, while Sharuddin hopes the vehicle—vital for his father-in-law’s daily use—will be recovered.
