The Johor government will revoke the licenses of local traders renting out Ramadan or Aidilfitri bazaar lots to foreigners, said Datuk Mohd Jafni Md Shukor, Housing and Local Government Committee chairman.

He emphasized that these regulations, set by local authorities, must also be followed by event organizers. This year, 12,757 trading lots at 228 locations under 16 PBTs in Johor have been allocated to bazaar traders.
The Health Ministry and local authorities will conduct inspections to ensure compliance with the Food Act 1983 and the Price Control and Anti-Profiteering Act 2011.
