JPJ Collects RM91.21 Million From H-Series Special Number Plate Bids

The Road Transport Department (JPJ) recorded RM91.21 million in revenue from the auction of special H-series vehicle registration numbers held in conjunction with Malaysia Day 2026. The total comprised RM89.27 million from successful bids and RM1.94 million in service fees collected through the JPJeBid platform between Sept 16 and Sept 20. A total of 34,664 bidders participated, with 8,223 registration numbers put up for bidding. 

H-Series

The H1 registration number attracted the highest bid at RM10.78 million, followed by H9 at RM4.97 million and H3 at RM4.21 million. Other high-value numbers included H5 at RM4.01 million, H8 at RM4 million and H6 at RM3.38 million. H1001 and H100 recorded the highest individual participation, with 37 bidders each. 

Transport Minister Anthony Loke said the strong response demonstrated continued demand for special registration numbers while highlighting the convenience of JPJeBid. He added that revenue generated would support programmes under the Transport Ministry and JPJ, including road safety initiatives. 

JPJ collects RM91.21 million from the H-series special registration number auction, with H1 alone fetching RM10.78 million.
