Justice Now Demanded in Cyberjaya Student Murder Case

KUALA LUMPUR, June 27 — Police are analyzing CCTV footage to track the suspect in the murder of Maniishapriet Kaur Akhara, a 20-year-old physiotherapy student from Kuching, found dead in her Cyberjaya dormitory on Tuesday. The University of Cyberjaya student died from blunt force trauma, with no signs of forced entry or sexual assault. Her laptop, phone, and ATM card were missing, with the card used for multiple unauthorized withdrawals. Bandar Kuching MP Dr Kelvin Yii and Minister Nancy Shukri demanded a transparent investigation, urging enhanced safety protocols at educational institutions to prevent future tragedies.
