Conservatives Support Kedah’s New Proposed Billboard Rule Banning “Sexy Ads”

Recently, the state of Kedah announced a new rule proposal for billboards citing that “sexy ads” are to be banned. Additionally, the usage of Jawi as the copy is also required in this proposal. It seems that the conservatives in the country are supporting this idea. 

Conservatives support Kedah’s new proposed billboard rule 

However, centrists and liberals are vehemently unhappy with this proposal citing that this may damage the state’s tourism further. They’re showing that these sorts of rules can negatively affect tourist islands like Langkawi. 

Others state that peculiar events like the body building events are contradicting such rules. This is in lieu of men showing off their muscled bodies, which is deemed as inappropriate to many.
