KFC has unfortunately closed 100 stores in Malaysia and many are sharing their speculations regarding the matter. Some users accuse the brand of reducing the portion size of their meals whilst increasing the prices. They feel that it’s no longer an affordable meal option for them.
100 KFC stores closed, smaller food portions and higher prices blamed
Some are blaming the brand for their alleged involvement in the Middle Eastern conflict, when the brand has countlessly said they’re not involved at all. The same goes to McDonalds and Starbucks. Some of these brands do not even have branches in Isr4el.
Others allege that McDonalds and Dominos Pizza allegedly have better standards and higher quality than KFC. Speculations that the younger generation do not have a nostalgic value to the brand as the older generation in lieu of newer and fancier brands popping up.
