Some users state that the word is considered as offensive to Americans. However, it is disrespectful to make derogatory comments towards an individual in lieu of their racial background.
Others add that the influencer may have done certain things that could be disrespectful towards some people. But, mimicking an actual word in one language to make it sound as an offensive word should not be something that is acceptable.
