According to former Malaysian Institute of Estate Agents (MIEA) president Chan Ai Cheng, there has been a 50% increase in inquiries about pet-friendly homes, as more Malaysians embrace pets as part of their families. Developers are responding by designing pet-friendly parks and spaces within residential areas. Properties with good ventilation and nearby open spaces, such as community parks, are becoming top priorities for pet-owning homebuyers.
