Two Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) officers faced charges for allegedly robbing a Chinese businessman of nearly RM1 million at a luxury residence two years ago. Muhamad Haffiz Mohd. Radzi, 33, and Mohd. Fahmee Mohamad Nor, 41, both pleaded not guilty.
MACC officers accused of robbing business man
The accusation stated they collectively robbed Kun Gao of cash, Yuan, a silver suitcase, and a black Louis Vuitton bag on December 10, 2021. Prosecuted under Section 395 of the Penal Code, the charges carry a 20-year maximum jail term. The court set bail at RM12,000 each for Haffiz and Fahmee and RM10,000 for Azwan Asli, the third accused. The trial is scheduled for February 5.
