The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) seized six luxury homes and a plot of land worth RM12 million on Friday, linked to a Tan Sri involved in a Klang Valley highway sukuk fund misappropriation probe. The MACC also summoned the businessman and his wife for questioning, but only she appeared, as he cited health issues. The investigation includes 30 to 50 witnesses and aims to trace assets locally and abroad. On Thursday, MACC confiscated RM32 million in assets, including branded handbags, jewelry, luxury vehicles, watches, cash, and RM3 million in premium liquors tied to suspected money laundering.
