An individual attacked the Madani government on a government platform. This is causing former Minister of Religious Affairs Datuk Seri Dr Mujahid Yusof Rawa to call for the government to take a more active and sensitive role in handling sensitive issues.
Madani government being attacked?
In lieu, this is regarding invitations to opposition figures on TV Al-Hijrah. He emphasized that the Minister of Religious Affairs and relevant officers need to be more sensitive to political issues to respect the Unity Government. He also criticized allowing individuals who attack the government with accusations and slander to be on a government platform.
He urged the communication and digital ministry to be firmer in handling slander issues, especially those involving religious and racial issues. Mujahid suggested implementing the Madani agenda throughout ministries through the Community Communication Department to ensure the idea is translated into each administration.
