A Madani Workers’ Card Offering Up to 30% Discounts for 1 Million Union Members Launched

Kuala Lumpur, May 1, 2025 – Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has officially launched the Madani Workers’ Card initiative, a groundbreaking program set to benefit one million union members across Malaysia. The card will provide discounts of up to 30% on essential goods and services from over 100 participating companies, offering significant financial relief to workers.

Among the prominent companies involved are retail giants AEON and Mydin, textile retailer Jakel, dining chains Marrybrown and Old Town White Coffee, Zuss Coffee, entertainment provider Genting, mobility service SOCAR, and automotive service provider Bateriku.

The initiative aims to support Malaysian workers by easing the cost-of-living burden while fostering collaboration between the government and private sector.
