Malaysia and India issue joint stance against cross-border terrorism

During high-level talks in Kuala Lumpur, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi condemned cross-border terrorism, stating there should be “no double standards and no compromise” in addressing terrorism threats.

Malaysia and India take unified strong stance against cross-border terrorism

The joint statement also emphasised the importance of enhanced cooperation on regional security, intelligence sharing and counter-terrorism capacity building as both nations seek a coordinated and uncompromising approach to terrorist activities. 

Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to strengthening bilateral ties across defence, trade and technology sectors as part of broader regional cooperation frameworks.
