Government Confirms Petrol Price Will Remain At RM1.99
Authorities said national oil company Petronas has confirmed that current reserves are enough to sustain supply for the coming months. The government will keep the price of RON95 petrol at RM1.99 per litre despite recent increases in global crude oil prices.
Officials also noted that the government is closely monitoring international developments and will review fiscal conditions in upcoming cabinet discussions.
