Malaysia Invited to UN Peacekeeping Forum 2025

Malaysia has been invited to attend the United Nations (UN) Peacekeeping Ministerial Forum 2025 in Berlin in May. Defence Minister Datuk Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin said this reaffirms Malaysia’s commitment to UN peacekeeping missions.

German Ambassador to Malaysia, Dr. Peter Blomeyer, handed over the invitation during a meeting at Wisma Pertahanan.

Discussions included developments in both countries and existing defence relations. Mohamed Khaled also mentioned that Germany and Turkiye were accepted as observers in the ADMM Experts’ Working Group programme during the recent ADMM retreat in Penang.
