Initially worried about perceptions, Shahrul now finds contentment in his work. He left his restaurant job to save for his wedding and embraced cleaning as the best option. Despite his academic achievements, he struggled to find other jobs.
Shahrul values his halal income and the respect he receives at work. His salary of SGD2,400 (RM8,005.80) allows him to support his family comfortably.
