Usually on social media, netizens would always defend the motorcyclists and would deem car drivers as the one at fault. However, things are taking a slow turn as a netizen posted a photo of motorcycles parking right on the sidewalk which was built for pedestrians to walk on.
Motorcycle issues
The netizen then commented stating that Malaysia will forever be a third world country when we have people with such mindsets roaming around the city. Furthermore, it seems to be an inherent problem where regardless of what vehicle the person is driving, they’d prioritise free parking.
There were those who are motorcycle riders that fought back the netizen by stating that it is hard to find parking in that area. The netizen replied that he is observing this issue as a pedestrian and it is hard for the public to walk safely when there’s obstacles on their dedicated paths.
Another netizen replied on their encounter with a motorcyclist rudely cutting them off and decided to park their motorcycle there. The pedestrian told them off and stated that the pavement is meant for people to walk on, only for him to be yelled back at with profanities.
