Man, 33, detained for jealous rage after woman cries assault

SEREMBAN: A 33-year-old woman reported being assaulted by her boyfriend in a jealous rage at Jalan Batu 18, Pasir Panjang, Port Dickson on July 28. The incident went viral on the Port Dickson Area Facebook page. According to Port Dickson district police chief Supt Aidi Sham Mohamed, the argument led to the woman being beaten, resulting in facial bruises and a small cut on her mouth.

A suspect also threatened to spread the victim’s photos. Arrested in Bandar Sunggala, Telok Kemang, the suspect, who has three prior drug-related records, tested positive for methamphetamine. He is remanded for four days for further investigation.
