A man in his 30s was found dead with 12 stab wounds at Damai Ria Apartments in Mantin on Tuesday, December 30. Nilai district police chief Supt Johari Yahya confirmed the case is being investigated as murder under Section 302 of the Penal Code. Police received information about the incident at around 11am and discovered wounds to the victim’s back of the head, chest, and neck.

Two local men in their 30s, who were the victim’s housemates, were arrested at 5:17pm the same day. Both suspects have been remanded for seven days until January 6. Forensic examination has been conducted, and investigations, including CCTV review and witness statements, are ongoing.
